BECOME A VOLUNTEER FOR THE STEP PROGRAM
Are you an experienced dancer?
Are you looking for ways to volunteer?
Do you like to teach children?
If you answered yes to all three questions above, you are a perfect fit for being a volunteer for the Step Program of Stairway For Ballet! If you are an experienced ballet dancer (you don't have to be a profession students.
Once you sign up for the form and meet our volunteer criteria, you will receive an email inviting you to an interview to ensure you are a great fit for the Step Program!
Once you are paired with the students and start teaching, it is your responsibility to prepare for each class each week and let them know if you are not able to teach that week. Please plan out your class before each class, and also be committed and responsible- these children are relying on you to get the best dance experience possible (many have never taken ballet before!) We will also go over all of this if you are selected.

Volunteers are currently teaching during the Summer (July 2026) for Cohort 5.
Please note that the Deadline for Cohort 5 is March 31st, 2026.
